If you missed church last Sunday, here are the announcements from the bulletin of April 23
Our first BBQ of the year will be May 7 after the 9:00 service. The parish will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks; folks are asked to provide the side dishes (last name A-M) and desserts (last name N-Z).
We will also need help setting up before and cleaning up afterwards. Marcy will have a signup sheet on the bulletin board if you can help with this.
The parish family of St. John’s is invited to the wedding of FuChai Wolff and Michael Mead Friday, June 2, at 4:00 pm at the Farmington Museum. The reception will start at 5:00 pm. Please RSVP Claudette Wolff (327-5249) by May 14 if you plan to attend.
St. John’s is still collecting Box Tops for Education to be given to the Four Corners Home for Children (Navajo Ministries) to be redeemed for educational materials. The box tops can be found on a number of household items including General Mills products (cereal and granola bars) and Kleenex tissues.
The collection box for them is in the parish hall under the big screen TV. The Outreach Committee will take them to Navajo Ministries on a frequent basis.
